Our Story

How it all started...

Hope Lutheran Church is a church of the ELCA, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.  You can find us on the corner of Starr and Eddy on the north side of Eau Claire, not far from the airport.
We are directly across the street from Sam Davey Elementary School, and close to North High School.
It is a beautiful and safe place to live and raise a family.
Hope is passionate about forming disciples for the church and for the world.  Service to the community is one of our highest callings.

We do this through a partnership with Sam Davey Elementary School in our Weekend Kids Meal program, serving in ministries to the hungry and homeless of our area including Community Table and Beacon House, and many, many other ways we share God's love with the city of Eau Claire and beyond.
Our church shares a building with Rachel's Place Early Learning Center, our partner in ministry.
Rachel's Place is a thriving place for early education.
It serves as a daycare, preschool, before and after school program, and 4K extension site of the ECASD.  We care for infants through school agers in our modern and hands-on learning center.  Our church is passionate about serving the families of Rachel's Place as an extension of the mission of Hope Lutheran Church.  Come and visit our church and center to experience this busy place of ministry and learning!
