All are welcome.

Whoever you are, wherever you are from, you are welcome here.

If you are looking for a church home, we invite you to make Hope Lutheran your spiritual home, a place where we hear Jesus' invitation to follow him and to gladly share the Good News with others.

We are a congregation of the ELCA, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and we belong to the Northwest Synod of WI.   We have a heart for Jesus, and a heart to serve the community of Eau Claire.

Message from Dave Lendle:
On November 1st of 2022 I was diagnosed with ALS.  The destructive progression is felt every day and now it is picking up speed. With no cure and no viable treatments the only real hope lies in the research stage and for that funds are needed. The ALS Association has a local fundraising event on June 10th, 2023 in Chippewa Falls called, Walk to Defeat ALS. My family and I will be participating and have put together Team Dave to help with fundraising and awareness. Whatever support, donations or volunteer work you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for all your kind thoughts and prayers from my Hope Lutheran Church family.

Expand Our Welcoming Spirit

During the month of June, the “Expand Our Welcoming Spirit” task force would like your opinion on the possibility of our church becoming a Reconciled in Christ (RIC) congregation.

The task force has written a draft welcome statement which would form the basis of our welcome. Additionally, by becoming RIC we would act out that welcome by being open to calling an LGBTQIA+ and Black, Brown, Indigenous Person of Color (BIPOC) and also by allowing our space to be used for LGBTQIA+ weddings and blessings.

Please review the full Expand our Welcoming Spirit Update, and share your opinion using this button. The questionnaire is also available  physically in the gathering space.

Thank you for your consideration and input!
